SLEEC troubleshooting

To scan SLEEC with just a tap, you need iPhone 7 and newer…

 

1. Make sure your phone is on the list of compatible devices

 

2. Make sure to touch your SLEEC to the very top of the back of iPhone.
On iPhones, the sweet spot for reading a SLEEC is on the very top of the back of the device.

 

3. SLEEC cannot read when:
– the phone is in airplane mode
– the device light is on
– the phone screen is turned off
– the camera application is open

1. Make sure your phone is on the list of compatible devices
The phone model you have does not matter when sharing!

2. Make sure to touch your SLEEC to the very top of the back of iPhone.
For Androids, the sweet spot for reading a SLEEC is in the center of the back of the device.

3. Make sure NFC is turned ON in the settings.
If the phone is on the compatible devices list and is still not reading your SLEEC, go to the phone settings and search for NFC. Make sure that “NFC” is turned on!

Where to place?

People often place their Sleec Digital Business Card on the back of their phone., but you’re not limited to this. You can place your Sleec adhesive on any flat, clean surface: tables, desks, counter tops, and walls all work just as well.

If you attach it to your phone make sure that you consult this diagram for proper placement so that it doesn’t interfere with any notifications or functionality of your own device.

In the settings menu on the app: select activate, then tap your SLEEC device to appropriate zone of your phone.

No! The other person does not need a SLEEC product or app to receive your SLEEC profile. Simply use SLEEC with compatible devices or easily share your QR code with older phones or SLEEC link!

Compatibility

iPhones as old as the iPhone 5S and almost all Androids can use their camera to scan your SLEEC QR code from the menu

You can also share your profile via text, airdrop, email, or any social network by sharing the link to your SLEEC profile.

No. SLEEC has no effect on the phone’s wireless charging features and will not interfere with each other.

Some Android phones have NFC turned off by default.

If you are unable to scan SLEEC, go to your phone’s settings, search for “NFC” and make sure it is turned ON!

For iPhones, the iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, SE and all future iPhones are compatible with SLEEC.

Virtually all Android Smartphones are compatible with the scan feature of SLEEC. However, please visit our compatible devices page  to ensure that your smartphone is on the list.

Shipping

We are shipping SLEEC worldwide except the USA due to patent conflicts.

Shipping time within Malaysia is typically 3-7 business days. We are currently experiencing delays due to COVID-19 so shipping might take up to 2 weeks. We thank you for your patience.

Shipping time outside of Malaysia is typically 2 – 4 weeks.

This is subject to customs clearance at the country of destination., depending on the carrier and destination. Please keep in mind that this is subject to any current pandemic, lockdown or movement restriction at the destination address and delivery may take longer than usual.

 

We are not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers from post offices to the local carrier in your location/country, or air and ground transportation strikes or delays, nor any extra fees, customs or back-end charges once the package has exited the country of origin.

Packages undeliverable by our selected carrier and/or their international shipping partners will be cancelled and refunded once received and processed at our shipping hub.
